Homework for the week of December 6, 2010

Wow! Time is really starting to pass by quickly. For this week in class, we will start the week reviewing the story Tops and Bottoms. Our reading, spelling, and grammar tests will take place on Wednesday, December 8th. On Thursday, we will read a new story, William's House, but there will be no test for this story.

We will also start a new spelling list and our grammar work (plural possessive nouns). Our spelling pretest for William's House will be on December 15th. Our grammar test for plural possessive nouns will also be on December 15th.

In math, we will be working on identifying horizontal, vertical, and oblique lines and line segments, using comparison signs (<,>, and =), finding perimeter, and making organized lists. We will have a fact assessment on Thursday and a written assessment on Friday.

This week in Science, we will continue to learn about the beetles. Our science test on the beetles will take place during the week of December 13th.

Just a reminder, progress notes will be sent home in the Friday folders this week.
