Homework for the week of February 14th

Thank you for checking the homework helpline. On Monday, we will have our Valentine's Day Party. Thank you to all the parents who helped plan and prepare this event for the children. All your hard work is appreciated!

This week in math, we will be learning about Roman numerals, adding three digit numbers, identifying ordinal positions, and reading money amounts to $1,000. We will be having a written math assessment on Tuesday.

In reading, we will be having our test for Symphony of Whales on Thursday, February 17th. We will be starting our new story, Volcanoes: Nature's Incredible Fire on Friday.

This week in grammar, we will continue working on subject-verb agreement. Our test will be on Thursday. We will start working on irregular verbs on Friday.

We will have our final spelling test on Thursday and start a new spelling list on Friday.

In addition, we will start a new unit in science. Starting Tuesday, we will investigate water.

President's Day Reports are due on February 22nd. Please remember, we have school on Friday, February 18th.
