Reading – This week we will be reading our story,
The Strongest One. We will have our reading assessment when we return from the
Thanksgiving break.
Writing – We will continue to work on narrative
writings.
Math – Today we just wrapped up math topic 5. We will be starting
topic 6 when we return. Topic 6 will focus on mental addition.
Science – We are continuing to work on weather. This
week and next week we will be discussing the water cycle.
Reminders
The
children go outside for recess each day. Please be sure that your child has a
coat, gloves, scarf, and a hat.
Please
be mindful of our policy here at NSE- if your child misses 4 homework
assignment in one month, there will be consequences.
Also,
students are required to bring their HORSE folder to school each day. Please
check your child’s backpack each morning to be sure it is returned. Thank you!
